James M. Seedorf Mr. Seedorf is a member of HUGHES PFIFFNER GORSKI SEEDORF & ODSEN, LLC. He joined the firm in 1977, and currently serves as a member of the firm's management committee. He has extensive litigation experience with primary emphasis in insurance defense, products liability, automobile, and general commercial litigation, as well as labor disputes involving wage and hour claims and employee termination disputes. Examples include four years litigation work on a $l70,000,000 pipeline coating case, and extensive litigation work on oil and gas production tax administrative proceedings involving issues exceeding $100,000,000 in value. Mr. Seedorf has represented TAPS Pipeline Owners and Alyeska Pipeline Service Company with respect to property tax issues in the state of Alaska, and has represented Marathon Oil Company, Unocal, Chevron, Shell Oil Company and others against, or in defense of State of Alaska Department of Revenue and Department of Natural Resources claims for additional production tax and income tax matters. He has 28 years of litigation experience in complex matters ranging from representation of manufacturers in litigation matters, to oil companies in administrative proceedings relating to tax matters, to representation of insurance companies in mediation, arbitration, and court proceedings.
